The intriguing allure which we mystify our readers with compares to none other. Speaking of allure, this week’s model has it in abundance. Street Khemistry: How did you get involved in modeling?
Tana Allure: Modeling for me started when I was the Promotions Director for E.P.E.M Inc. At the time I was promoting clubs and the CEO of E.P.E.M Inc wanted to do a photoshoot for the site and that was the day I met Desi Adorn who has been managing me since.
Q: What has been your best modeling experience so far?
My best experience would have to be the event I hosted and coordinated with Desi Adorn at Harlem5th Studios (now shut-down). We had everyone there from publications to models to artists to photographers to directors to talents scouts and record labels. There was test shoots going on at different sections of the studio. Meet and greet with all the reps, the oppurtunity to showcase your talent/port to the reps etc. Everyone had a great time.
SK: Whats the biggest Obstacle you’ve had to overcome in the modeling business?
TA: The biggest obstacle would have to be dealing with people who are nothing of what they portray to be and who lack communication when theres an issue with something. This is an on-going obstacle.
Q: Being a Latina model, is that a Benefit or Hinder? And How?
It seems like currently its a beneficial thing because the Latin Models are in demand now but even if it wasn’t, being Latina is always great for me because of more job oppurtunites from knowing 2 languages. Overall, latina models tend to have exotic looks and people are drawn to that.
SK: What was your first job?
TA: My first job ever was at the flower shop with an amazing lady named Margie who I considered my Grandma. She showed me how to cut roses and make arrangements. I would work there after school sometimes when I was about 12. She will always be special to me!
SK: What’s your favorite city in the world and why?
TA: I haven’t traveled much yet but my fav so far would have to be Ft.Lauderdale FL. I had such an amazing time while I was living there years ago. I always wanted to go back to Florida but don’t see that happening anytime soon. It was a great experience because people are calmer and happier down there, they seem to be more into living life versus living to work.
SK: Whats your favorite drink?
TA: My favorite drink would have to be a red wine – tempranillo/cabernet Blend from Spain. Really great for relaxing but if I had a Super stressful day then Jamesons neat will do the trick. 
Then on a healther tip I love my Lemon/ginger shots.
SK: Tell us five things you would want people to know about you.
TA: 1- Im a Pisces. 2- I am Vegan. 3- I aspire to have an animal sanctuary one day. 4- Sometimes I daydream about different things I would do to someone I walk by and find Very attractive. 5- I am PuertoRican and Peruvian ( my peruvian side has Spain, Greek, and Italian).
SK: We understand you’re a vegan. How long have you been a Vegan and what made you do so?
TA: I have been Vegan for 2yrs and Vegetarian for 2yrs before that. My love for animals is a main part of it along with healthier lifestyle. I did see animal slaughter house videos which sealed the deal for me.
SK: What do you do for down time?
TA: On my very rare downtime I scout for female promo Models, watch Law&Order, see friends I haven’t seen in a while, and workout of course.
SK: Are you currently dating?
TA: I am currently staying focused on whats needed to get done, accomplished, and gained out of Life!
SK: What type of men are you attracted to?
TA: I love a strong, confident, secure , and presentable man who knows how to be understanding & supportive the same way I am towards him. He will also need to meet high standards when the lights go Out
SK: What are your top three turn ons and turn offs?
TA: Top 3 turn-ons include: intellectual conversations, being knowledgeable in things other then what everyone watches on T.V and someone with goals/drive/action. Top 3 turn-offs include: insecurity , name-dropping, not listening when spoken to.
SK: Describe the perfect man.
TA: The perfect man massages me when I get home after a long day of shooting, asks how my day was, and knows how to tolerate my emotional ways. He would cherish me and treat me special every single day and I would of course do the same. We would compliment each other and inspire each other to grow in every way.
SK: Describe a perfect night out.
TA: The perfect night out would be with my close girls at the spa getting our toes, nails, hair did finishing this with a deep tissue massage. Then off to Wild Ginger to talk girl Talk….ohhh yeaaaaahh (Quasia>>xo)
SK: Where is the craziest place you’ve had sex?
TA: The craziest place would have to be a rooftop that was the shortest building surrounded by many others so who knows how many “Views” we had. lol. The sun was starting to rise.
SK: Tell us what makes you sexy.
TA: My alluring eyes is what makes me sexy, I feel I can captivate someone and completely alter their mood just by my look. Its pure, natural, and genuine…. people see that and feel it. Then of course its my bum bum
SK: What makes you unique from other models?
TA: Its very easy to say that I’m a very distinct model because of my mix, the fact that I’m a Thick Vegan Glamour model, I know how to socialize with all types of people, and my reliability!
SK: Which one of your features gets the most attention?
TA: My legs and thighs probably gets the most attention depending on what I’m wearing. They are well sculpted and toned.
SK: What’s the best way for a guy to approach you?
TA: The best way for a man to approach me is to simply say : “Hi, my name is ______ and i noticed you when______ . I just wanted to let you know that your beautiful. It would be great if I could get to now what your interests are so that I have an idea for our possible first date.” … Yep, thats a great start for me;)
SK: What is something most people don’t know about you?
TA: Most people don’t know that sometimes I daze off thinking about random stuff which includes someone I saw earlier who I found attractive and thought of all things I could do to him.. . . lol, ahhhh the joys of daydreaming!
SK: What music and artists do you listen to?
TA: I listen to everything but nowadays mostly alternative music like Staind, Coldplay, Nickleback and more.
SK: If you weren’t modeling, what do you think you career path would you have chosen?
TA: If I wasn’t in the industry at all then I would be working animal shelters, sanctuaries, clinics….. something along this route having to do with animals.
SK: What can we expect to see from you this year?
TA: This year Tana Allure will be all over the place being a spokesmodel for different products and services. I will have vinyll posters that will be customized to these businesses which can be printed at any size. I will have more shoots, productions, video footage, events, and possible movie appearances.
