First and foremost, I have to say that I am not a fan of battle rappers. Mainly because I like to listen to actual songs rather than insults but hey, that’s my personal preference. Cortez, a battle rapper, breaks the mold of the stereotype being that he is probably the only modern day rapper of battle that has been able to sound good over a beat. If you feel otherwise, by all means, prove me wrong.
